Counselling and Assessment
Our Edu-Action Counsellors will counsel you based on your academic background, work experience, course entry requirements, extra-curricular interests and budget. They will also assess your eligibility for student visa and inform you about additional entry requirements for your course such as IELTS/GMAT.
Edu-Action counsellors will help you compile your application documents and complete your application forms. Applications will usually be sent to multiple institutions either through a single application form or through multiple forms depending on the norm. The progress of your application will also be monitored and tracked by the counsellors.
Upon receiving your offer letters, you will be guided on which offer to accept and how to move forward in terms of documentation that needs to be sent to the institution.
At postgraduate level there may be some partial scholarships offered by the UK universities. EDU-ACTION counsellors will inform you about the scholarship requirements and the deadlines after you receive an offer from the university.
UKBA may require you to show evidence on accommodation arrangements for the duration of your study period in the UK. An Edu-Action counsellor will give you guidance on on-campus or off-campus accommodation based on your preference and budget.
Pay tuition fee or deposit
You may need to pay a deposit towards the tuition fee to fulfil the conditions of the offer letter and to secure the Confirmation of Acceptance (CAS) from the institution.
CAS from institution
Upon receipt of the Confirmation of Acceptance (CAS) and all other relevant documents an Edu-Action counsellor will assist you with moving on to the next step which is financial document requirements and application of student visa.
Apply for student visa
An Edu-Action counsellor will check your financial documents and assist you with the visa application form. The counsellor will also make an appointment at the visa application centre for you.
Organisation of travel
While your student visa is being confirmed you will be guided you on the requirements of your medical report and will receive assistance with travel arrangements to the UK.
You will be invited to attend a pre-departure briefing prior to leaving for the UK. The pre-departure briefing will offer guidance on issues such as travel to the UK, arrival in the UK, settling in and
